NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT TO HOUSING FINANCE AUTHORITY

Manatee County Government is seeking local qualified citizens to serve on the Housing
Finance Authority. The purpose of the Housing Finance Authority is to assist in the alleviation
of the shortage of affordable housing by providing financing through the issuance of revenue bonds and other programs. This board is voluntary and members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners for four year terms. Applications are currently being accepted for one position for a person who is knowledgeable in the labor, finance or commerce field.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF PUBLIC MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Housing Finance Authority of Manatee County, Florida, is cancelling the meetings scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. and August 11, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at 435 12^th Street West, 2^nd Floor Conference Room, Bradenton, Florida, to discuss matters of the Authority as it deems appropriate.

Persons are advised that, if they decide to appeal any decision made at any of these meetings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purposes they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The needs of hearing or visually impaired persons shall be met if the contact person below is notified at least 48 hours prior to the meeting by any person wishing assistance.
